Shreadhead Track Ported And Machined Zenoah G270RC 4 Bolt Motor

After many long months of testing, our track ported Zenoah G270RC is here! We developed our track ported motors during the 2008 Milestone Baja racing season with Rodney Ketchem Shreadhead on the hpibajaforum.com (Winner of the 2008 Milestone baja offroad championship and 3rd place at the 2008 HPI Baja Nationals unlimited class) We built this motor to be very smooth and reliable. This is not the fastest motor that we can build. With this motor we aimed at putting the power where you really need it on the track. This motor is built to run off of a Wt-603 carb for better fuel efficiency during long races. To start we completly tear down the motor and do the following modifications:

1. Deck cylinder for higher compression without using a thinner base gasket

2. Remove the standard crank shaft and install a stuffed crank

3. Remove Wt-813 carb and replace it with a Wt-603 carb for better fuel efficiency

4. Relieve O.D. of piston to prevent seizing under harsh track conditions

5. Raise intake timing to our specs

6. Raise exhaust timing to our specs and reshape exhaust port

7. Install all new gaskets and c-clips

This engine fits

To install this engine on any hpi baja you either have to modify the Zenoah clutch or install a CY clutch.
